Sports Massage:

Sports Massage or Deep Tissue Massage is one of our specialities. This is not only fantastic for sports people, but for anyone who wants a deep tissue massage. It focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue and is especially helpful for chronic and tense areas such as stiff necks, headaches, lower back tightness and sore shoulders. Regular treatments can help break down scar tissue, remove the build-up of toxins, improve mobility and prevent the risk of further injury.

Acupuncture £40 (approx 1 hour)

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese therapy that treats blockages in the energy pathways (meridians) of the body. The technique used within SJ Sports Injuries is trigger point needling. It is a highly effective technique that can help to eliminate your pain and tightness by easing irritable knots in soft tissue along with many other health benefits.

Cupping £30 (approx 45min)

Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy in which a cup is applied to the skin and the pressure in the cup is reduced (by suction) in order to draw and hold skin and superficial muscles inside the cup. While the suction is active, the cup is moved, causing the skin and muscle to be pulled, this is called gliding cupping. Cupping is known to help activate the lymphatic system, promote blood circulation, and is good for deep tissue repair. This therapy can also work well along with a sports massage.
